The Baywatch Hawaii Yellow Lifeguard Jacket is an article of clothing worn by both the male and female Baywatch Hawaii Lifeguards during their duties in Hawaii.
The creation of the jacket[]
The jacket first appeared in Season 10 ( also known as Season 1 of Baywatch Hawaii) and was different to the original Red and Black jacket, as was it slightly lighter in weight, had a hood and was not as thick because of the hot weather conditions in Hawaii.
Like it's predecessor, it was unisex so was worn by virtually all the lifeguarding team during the first season of Baywatch Hawaii. The female guards wore the jacket over their Yellow swimsuits and were also known to wear it with black leggings (that featured the Baywatch Hawaii patch).
It also featured on a few occasions alongside the light grey jacket in Season 11 (also known as Season 2 of Baywatch Hawaii).
During Season 11, this jacket was seen in an identical style light grey jacket. However this time it featured a new unique patch. This light grey variant was worn primarily by the trainees at the Training Centre.
