David Wayne Spade (Born July 22, 1964) is an actor, stand-up comedian, television host and writer who guest starred as B.J. in the Baywatch Season 1 episode Second Wave.

He is best known for being a cast member of Saturday Night Live (in which he also appeared in one episode as a host) and his various other movie and television roles including Kyle in Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol, Richard Hayden in Tommy Boy, Steven "Steve" Dodds in Black Sheep, Scott Thorpe in Senseless, Emperor Kuzco in The Emperor's New Groove and it's sequel Kronk's New Groove, Dennis Finch in Just Shoot Me (in which he received an Emmy nomination and two Golden Globe nominations) and Russell Dunbar in Rules of Engagement.

David has also appeared in five films which he co-wrote himself, mostly as the lead character; Dylan Ramsey in Lost & Found, Joseph "Joe" Dirt in Joe Dirt and its sequel Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser, Dickie Roberts in Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star and Johnny Jon-John in Mad Families.

He was also the host of The Showbiz Show with David Spade and Lights Out with David Spade.
