Hobie Buchannon is a fictional character from the popular American television show Baywatch portrayed by Brandon Call in season 1 and by Jeremy Jackson in seasons 2-9 and an episode in Baywatch Hawaii. Hobie is the son of Mitch Buchannon and Gayle Buchannon.

Hobie first appeared in season 1, episode 1 during season 1 he was played by actor Brandon Call. Also during season 1, it was shown Hobie had a love for the beach and sea and wanted to be a lifeguard just like his dad however Hobie's mum was against it.

- According to David Hasselhoff, the role of Hobie was almost given to Leonardo DiCaprio after Brandon Call left the series.
- Hobie was the second character to have more than one actor portrayal, the first being Gina Pomeroy.
- Hobie was named after famous surf and sailing entrepreneur and pioneer Hobart "Hobie" Alter who was also the founder of the famous Hobie company.
