Hobie weaves a web of lies (Mostly, because of Mitch and himself) to impress the girl Heather; Summer is humiliated when she mistakes an offhand invitation from Jimmy Slade for a date. Later, Summer catches those two same girls who teased her earlier about her mistake, drinking alcohol on the beach, despite being underage and it being illegal.

- Jason Marsden, who guest stars in this episode, would later become a regular on Step by Step, playing the best friend of J.T. Lambert. J.T. was played by Brandon Call, who played Hobie Buchannon in the first season of Baywatch.
