Ryan McBride is a character in Baywatch and it's spin off Baywatch Nights.
She grew up in Texas and got her PI license in New York. Ryan then partnered with Garner Ellerbee and Mitch Buchannon to establish the Buchannon, Ellerby & MacBride Detective Agency in Los Angeles.
